How to backup your GitHub Gists

Introduction

Backing up all of your Gists couldn't be easier. They reside along side your Repositories on the same page. Here's how to do it.

Step 1

From anywhere on the website, navigate to the left hand menu and under Your Protected Apps, select GitHub.

Step 2

In the top left of the page, select the dropdown menu, then select Gists.

Step 3

Select + Add Gists.

Step 4

Add some or all of your Gists, then select Add gists.
