Introduction
Before you can start making backups, you must first install the GitLab app and sync your account in App connectors.
NOTE
In relation to GitLab, when projects is mentioned, we mean repositories. They are synonymous.
The backup of projects encompasses the repository.
Step 1
For new users:
After you have installed the GitLab app and synced your account, you will be re-directed to Your Protect Applications.
For existing users:
Navigate to the left menu and select GitLab under Your Protected Applications.
Step 2
In the top right, select either Add projects or Add snippets, depending on what you want to back up.
At the modal, a list of all your content will be listed. You have the option to search through manually what you want or select all. Once you are ready, select Add.

Backups refresh every 24 hours at midnight GMT (Greenwich Mean Time)
